How to print from your phone at a copy shop or library

The file is on your phone, the printer is attached to someone else’s computer. Here is the safe way to get it there in seconds.

Open Hopzup Free. No app, no account.

Step by step

Ask for the computer to open hopzup.online (or open it yourself).

Scan the QR code on the screen with your phone.

Send the PDF or photo from your phone, open it on the computer and print.

Do not log into your email on a public computer

Public and shop computers can keep sessions, passwords and downloads. With a code-based transfer there is nothing to log out of, and the file is deleted from our server after 10 minutes.

No USB stick

USB sticks spread malware between public computers and are easy to forget. A browser transfer needs nothing but the phone you already have.

Many photos of one document?

Send the photos and use “Combine into one PDF” to print them as a single document.

Questions

Does the shop need to install anything?

No. Any browser works.

What file types can I print?

Anything the computer can open: PDF, photos, Word documents and more.
